Overview

We are a new and growing company looking to employ our first engineer. Our Managing Director has over 20 years’ experience in the crane industry and established the company one year ago. We are now in a position to expand our team and are looking for the right engineer to join us.

To be successful in this role, you must hold an electrical or mechanical engineering qualification and have previous experience working on and repairing overhead cranes. A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.

Our working hours are 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with the potential for overtime during evenings and weekends. We cover sites across the UK and provide a company van for travel to and from site, along with a business mobile phone and tablet.

Duties

Travelling to customer sites and meeting with clients

Fault finding and repairing overhead cranes

Carrying out maintenance and repairs to a high standard

Taking part in an on-call rota, including occasional overnight call-outs

Skills & Experience

Previous experience repairing and maintaining overhead cranes

Electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications

Good communication skills

Comfortable dealing with customers and able to represent the company confidently and professionally
